Mötley Crüe gave Vancouver crowds a loud preview of their upcoming North American tour, turning up at the city’s FIFA Fan Festival on July 12 for a hits-packed set. Fan-shot footage from the band’s appearance at the PNE Amphitheatre in Vancouver, British Columbia, has since surfaced online and can be seen down below.
The show was part of Vancouver’s official FIFA Fan Festival at Hastings Park, where the grounds have been reshaped into a football-and-music hub featuring giant-screen match broadcasts, concerts, international food and drink, and activities for all ages, spread across spots including the PNE Amphitheatre, the PNE Forum and the Freedom Mobile Arch. On the night, Mötley Crüe were joined by Canadian rockers Finger Eleven and Toque as openers.
Per Setlist.fm, the band ran through a 16-song set loaded with fan favorites and early-era classics. They opened with “Red Hot” and “Louder Than Hell” before tearing into staples like “Wild Side“, “Shout At The Devil“, “Looks That Kill” and “Too Young To Fall In Love“. The night also made room for “Home Sweet Home“, a cover of Brownsville Station‘s “Smokin’ In The Boys Room“, and a closing one-two of “Dr. Feelgood” and “Kickstart My Heart“.

The Vancouver outing is the latest in a short burst of warm-up dates. The band played its first full headline show in nine months on July 4 at the Rockin’ Thunder festival in Winnipeg, a set that dusted off several rarities — including “Take Me To The Top“, from their 1981 debut Too Fast For Love, for the first time since 1984.
All of it points toward “The Return Of Carnival Of Sins,” the Live Nation-produced tour set to launch later this week. The 33-date run celebrates both the 20th anniversary of the band’s 2005–2006 “Carnival Of Sins” tour and Mötley Crüe‘s 45th year as a band, kicking off July 17 – The Pavilion at Star Lake, Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, with Extreme and Tesla on support throughout.
