Metallica Live 2025

Fresh off a powerful performance in Houston, Metallica is maintaining its relentless touring momentum by releasing a new official live video and outlining an extensive European itinerary for 2026. The band recently unveiled footage of their commanding rendition of “Ride The Lightning,” captured live at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, on June 14th, offering fans a high-octane glimpse into their ongoing M72 World Tour.

The legendary quartet is set to make their next appearance at a historic event: the Black Sabbath/Ozzy OsbourneBack To The Beginning” concert at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, on July 5th. This highly anticipated performance underscores Metallica‘s deep roots and respect within the heavy metal community.

Looking further ahead, Metallica has now confirmed an expansive European leg of their M72 World Tour for spring and summer 2026. The tour will once again feature the groundbreaking “No Repeat Weekend” concept in select cities, promising fans two entirely unique shows with distinct setlists and alternating support bands. Frankfurt, Budapest, Dublin, and London are slated to host these immersive two-night experiences.

The “No Repeat Weekend” format will see a rotating cast of heavy-hitting support acts. One night will feature the potent combination of Gojira and Knocked Loose, while the other will showcase the return of Pantera alongside Avatar. For fans in other regions, Metallica has also announced a series of “One Night Only” concerts, including long-awaited stops in Athens (their first since 2010), Chorzów (since 2008), and Cardiff (since 1996), as well as single shows in Bucharest, Zürich, Berlin, Bologna, and Glasgow.

The M72 World Tour maintains its innovative in-the-round stadium production, featuring the iconic Snake Pit at the center of the stage, providing fans with a complete 360-degree view of the show. Metallica is also continuing to offer a range of “Enhanced Experiences” designed to provide unparalleled access, from exclusive meet & greets and stage tours to the “Black Box” lounge and direct Snake Pit entry. For the most dedicated enthusiasts, the “I Disappear Ticket” is making a comeback, offering the ultimate pass to attend every M72 2026 show across Europe. Single-day tickets for “No Repeat Weekend” shows are scheduled to become available starting July 25th.
