Metallica Releases Official Live Video Of ‘Blackened’ From Tampa, Florida

Metallica continues to offer fans an immersive look into their ongoing “M72 World Tour” with the release of official live video footage from their June 6th performance at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The newly released clip features the band’s powerful rendition of “Blackened,” providing another high-quality glimpse into the unique 360-degree stage production. This video joins the previously shared official footage of “72 Seasons” from the same Tampa concert. You can watch both videos down below.

Metallica’s next live appearances are scheduled for this weekend, June 27th and 29th, at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado.

Looking ahead, Metallica has confirmed an extensive European leg of their M72 World Tour set for spring and summer 2026. The trek will maintain the innovative stadium production, featuring a circular stage at midfield and the iconic “Snake Pit” at its center, providing a complete 360-degree view of the performance.

The 2026 European run will continue the popular “No Repeat Weekend” format in select cities, where Metallica will deliver two entirely different setlists over two nights with varying support acts. Cities confirmed for these unique weekend experiences include Frankfurt, Budapest, Dublin, and London. Complementing these multi-night engagements, the tour will also feature “One Night Only” shows, including long-awaited returns to Athens (first time since 2010), Chorzów (first time since 2008), and Cardiff (first time since 1996). Additional single dates are slated for Bucharest, Zurich, Berlin, Bologna, and Glasgow.

Support for the European leg will be provided by a rotating lineup of prominent acts, with Pantera, Gojira, Knocked Loose, and Avatar confirmed to join various dates throughout the tour.

Tickets for the “M72 World Tour” in 2026 offer a range of options, including standard one-day and two-day passes. Additionally, fans can enhance their concert experience with various packages, such as those providing access to meet & greets, stage tours, the “Black Box” lounge, and coveted “Snake Pit” access. The popular “I Disappear” ticket, offering entry to all “M72 2026” European shows, is also available for the most dedicated followers. Single-day tickets for “No Repeat Weekend” shows will become available starting July 25th.
