According to the report, the band is “ready to ink a deal” that would logically follow the conclusion of their massive M72 world tour, which is scheduled to wrap up in Europe in July 2026. While there has been no official confirmation from the Metallica camp, the possibility has ignited excitement among fans, especially in light of recent comments from guitarist Kirk Hammett.
