Metallica Announces 2026 European Tour Featuring Pantera, Gojira, And Others

Metallica is keeping the momentum of their massive M72 World Tour alive, revealing an electrifying run of European stadium shows set for spring and summer 2026. Now entering its fourth year, the tour brings back the jaw-dropping in-the-round production that’s become a signature of this era—complete with a central Snake Pit and 360° views that put fans at the heart of the action.

Returning to the stage alongside the metal titans are none other than Pantera, who’ve been a powerhouse presence on recent M72 dates, and the genre-defying Gojira, with whom Metallica previously toured during the World Magnetic and WorldWired cycles. The lineup gets even heavier with support from rising hardcore stars Knocked Loose and Swedish metallers Avatar.

One of the major draws of the 2026 dates is the continuation of Metallica’s No Repeat Weekends, hitting cities like Frankfurt, Budapest, Dublin, and London. These special events feature two back-to-back nights of completely different setlists and different opening acts—offering die-hard fans a deep dive into Metallica’s 40+ year catalog with zero song repeats. Fans who opt for the 2-Day ticket get an exclusive chance to experience the full spectrum of the band’s legacy in a way that few tours ever attempt.

For those looking for something more bite-sized, Metallica is also rolling out eight One Night Only shows, making long-overdue stops in cities such as Athens (last played in 2010), Chorzów (2008), and Cardiff (1996), plus single-night gigs in Bucharest, Zurich, Berlin, Bologna, and Glasgow.

As with previous legs, a variety of Enhanced Experiences will be available, including meet and greets, behind-the-scenes production tours, Snake Pit access, and VIP lounge amenities. The fan-favorite “I Disappear” Ticket is back as well, granting ultra-dedicated fans access to every single European date on the 2026 run.

Tickets officially go on sale Friday, 30 May at 10 AM local time, with Fan Club presales kicking off Tuesday, 27 May. Fans can visit metallica.com/presale-codes to request presale access. For those only able to attend one night of a No Repeat Weekend, Single-Day tickets will be made available starting 25 July 2025.
