Megadeth marked a major milestone on January 17 with an intimate, invitation-only appearance at Noz Entertainment in La Vergne, Tennessee, where the band unveiled a live first for longtime fans. During the exclusive gathering, the group performed “I Don’t Care” on stage for the first time ever.

The performance took place as part of a private pre-listening event tied to Megadeth’s forthcoming and final studio album, Megadeth. Marketed as a premium, all-day experience — with tickets reportedly priced at $950 — the event offered attendees early access to the new record alongside personal stories, behind-the-scenes insights, and a rare mixed-format live set.

The show featured both stripped-down acoustic moments and a full electric portion, culminating in the debut performance of “I Don’t Care“, a track drawn from the upcoming album. According to setlist.fm, the evening unfolded as follows:

Acoustic set:

  • “Angry Again”
  • “She-Wolf”

Mustaine has previously described the album as the opening chapter of Megadeth’s final era as a studio recording band.
