Soulfly is set to headline the “Max Cavalera Dynasty Show” on November 9 at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Arizona. The event will also feature Nailbomb, one of Max’s long-running projects, with a powerhouse trio of guitarists: Max Cavalera, his son Igor Amadeus Cavalera, and Travis Stone.
Travis, who also plays guitar for Pig Destroyer, will be joined by Johny Chow on bass—previously with Stone Sour, Fireball Ministry, and Cavalera Conspiracy. Alex Cha, also from Pig Destroyer, will handle the sampler, while Adam Jarvis, known for his work with Misery Index and Pig Destroyer, will be on drums.
Max and Igor Cavalera will also be performing with their other bands, Go Ahead And Die, Soulfly, and Healing Magic.
Richie Cavalera will deliver the intense energy of thrash with his band, Incite!
The exceptional bassist Jackie Cruz, who made a strong impression on the GAAD debut tour earlier this year, will bring her band Jade Helm to the stage.
Max Cavalera comments: “I’m looking forward to playing with SOULFLY on the Lamb of God Headbangers Boat, going to the Dominican Republic and back. We will be crossing the Southern most moshpits of America to reach the cruise! The tour wraps with the Dynasty show.
“Super excited to present the Max Cavalera Dynasty Show in our hometown! This is a family steeped in the legacy of Metal! Making this night unforgettable will be the special rare appearance of Nailbomb! Maybe in the future, I’ll even be able to bring this package to the tribe and other parts of the world!”
