Mark Osegueda Crushes Scorpions’ ‘He’s A Woman – She’s A Man’ Live With Exodus (Video)

Thrash metal titans Exodus delivered a special treat for fans past Saturday, April 26th, when Mark Osegueda of Death Angel and Kerry King‘s solo band joined them on stage at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California. Osegueda lent his powerful vocals to a live rendition of Exodus‘s recently released cover of the Scorpions classic, “He’s a Woman – She’s a Man.” Fan-filmed footage which captured the high-energy collaboration is available below.

The live performance follows the official release of the studio version featuring Osegueda just last week. Exodus guitarist Gary Holt expressed his excitement about the collaboration when the track dropped: “We decided to cover one of our favorite bands of all time a ways back and have been sitting on it until now, and even better, the one and only Mark Osegueda of Death Angel/Kerry King collabed with us to sing it, and he crushes it! He is the only guy we knew who could do Klaus [Meine] justice. Hope you dig it!”

This guest appearance comes during a significant period of change for Exodus. In January 2025, the band announced they had parted ways with longtime frontman Steve “Zetro” Souza. Simultaneously, they welcomed back vocalist Rob Dukes, who previously fronted the band from 2005 to 2014.

The band thanked Souza for his contributions and wished him well, welcoming Rob back in the band: “And please help us welcome Rob Dukes back to Exodus! We are beyond stoked to have Rob back ripping up the stage with us and he’s looking forward to crushing everything like only he can. Next chapter begins, new record rolls along as planned and the beatings will continue.”

Dukes made his official return to the stage with Exodus nearly 11 years after his departure on April 5th, 2025, at the Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest in Philadelphia. During his previous tenure, Dukes recorded four studio albums with the band: Shovel Headed Kill Machine (2005), The Atrocity Exhibition… Exhibit A (2007), the Bonded By Blood re-recording Let There Be Blood (2008), and Exhibit B: The Human Condition (2010).

Souza, who originally fronted Legacy (later Testament) before his first Exodus stint (1986-1993), had rejoined the band in 2014, replacing Dukes at that time. His latest run lasted until the recent split in January 2025.

As Exodus, authors of the seminal 1985 thrash classic Bonded By Blood, move forward into this new chapter with Rob Dukes back at the helm and work progressing on a follow-up to 2021’s Persona Non Grata, collaborations like the one with Mark Osegueda add extra excitement for fans.
