Marilyn Manson‘s thirteenth album is out now via Nuclear Blast, with an Anthony Silva-directed video for opening track Unalive.
Marilyn Manson has released One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 through Nuclear Blast, and issued a music video for the album’s opening track “Unalive“. Anthony Silva directed the clip.
The record runs to nine tracks and is the band’s thirteenth studio album, following Chapter 1, which came out on November 22, 2024. Every song was written and co-produced by Manson with Tyler Bates, the fourth Marilyn Manson album Bates has produced or co-produced after The Pale Emperor in 2015, Heaven Upside Down in 2017 and Chapter 1. Bates stepped away from the touring band in January to concentrate on film scoring, and described the album at the time as their finest work together.
Two songs preceded it. “Exit Wound” arrived on June 12 as the lead single, followed by “Front Toward Enemy” on July 17. A virtual gallery carrying Manson‘s own commentary on the album is running at oaug.marilynmanson.com.

The album lands six days before Manson goes back on the road. The “Freaks On Parade” tour, a 21-date North American co-headline run with Rob Zombie promoted by Live Nation, opens on August 20 at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach and closes on September 20 in Concord, California. The HU and Orgy are supporting on every date except Airway Heights, Washington on September 16, which The HU are not playing.
It is the fourth time the two have co-headlined together, after the “Twins Of Evil” tour in 2012, “Twins Of Evil: The Second Coming in 2018” and “Twins Of Evil: Hell Never Dies” in 2019. The “Freaks On Parade” name comes from Zombie‘s own touring brand, which he has previously run with Mudvayne in 2022 and Alice Cooper in 2023 and 2024. Zombie is touring behind The Great Satan, released on February 27, also through Nuclear Blast.

On Wednesday, a Los Angeles judge set November 15, 2027 as the trial date in the sexual assault lawsuit brought against Manson by his former personal assistant Ashley Walters. Manson has denied the allegations made against him.
