Marilyn Manson Confirms ‘Chapter Two’ Of His Comeback Album Is Arriving ‘Very Soon’

Marilyn Manson is moving quickly to expand his return to the spotlight, confirming that the second installment of his latest recording project is imminent. Following the 2024 release of his twelfth studio album, One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1, the vocalist has teased that the next phase of the saga will be released “very soon.”

The upcoming release serves as the literal “Chapter Two” to the material unleashed earlier this year, continuing the creative momentum of a comeback that many industry insiders once thought impossible. Since the release of One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1, Manson has maintained a rigorous touring schedule, attempting to re-establish his footing in the hard rock community.

“It has been a great year since the release of Chapter One. Be prepared for Chapter Two very soon”, he wrote in an Instagram post.

Manson‘s return to active duty follows a severe professional exile that began in 2021. The musician was effectively blacklisted by the music industry after more than a dozen women came forward with serious allegations of s*xual misconduct and assault. In the immediate aftermath, Manson was dropped by his long-time manager, his talent agent, and his record label, leaving his career in limbo for several years.

While the musician has steadfastly denied the claims, the legal battles surrounding the allegations have been extensive. Over the last four years, several of the cases have played out in the court system, while others remain ongoing litigation.

The controversy continues to follow Manson on the road. Although he has successfully completed tours since his return, his presence remains a flashpoint for criticism. Recent concert dates in the United Kingdom faced sharp opposition from local politicians and activist groups, and a performance in Mexico was similarly met with physical protests from advocacy groups, underscoring the deep division regarding his platform in the entertainment industry.
