Marilyn Manson has added “You Can’t Die Young” to an expanded edition of One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2.
Marilyn Manson has reissued One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 two weeks after its release, adding a previously unheard track. “You Can’t Die Young” sits sixth on the expanded edition, which is out digitally worldwide through Nuclear Blast Records.
One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 arrived on 14 August and is Manson‘s thirteenth studio album, closing the two-part story he began with Chapter 1 in November 2024. Every song was written and co-produced with Tyler Bates, his fourth record with Manson after The Pale Emperor in 2015, Heaven Upside Down in 2017 and Chapter 1.
“Exit Wound” led it in June, followed by “Front Toward Enemy” in July. Opener “Unalive” came with a video directed by Anthony Silva.
Manson said of the record: “I am proud to give you the second chapter of One Assassination Under God. This completes my story. I used each stone that was thrown at me to sharpen my edges. I outgrew purgatory and carved these songs into the skin of the world. As you listen I hope it forms a scar that you cannot forget.”
An accompanying virtual exhibition pairs the music with original visual works and audio commentary from Manson, now including a section on the new song. Physical editions include a Claymore variant limited to 1,800 copies through the Nuclear Blast store, alongside green-and-blue marbled and pink-and-red swirl pressings.

The reissue lands mid-run on “Freaks On Parade“, a 21-date co-headline tour with Rob Zombie that opened on 20 August in West Palm Beach and finishes on 20 September in Concord, California. The Hu and Orgy support on selected nights.
It is the fourth time the two have shared a bill on tour, following the “Twins Of Evil” runs. Zombie‘s band on this outing includes Mike Riggs, who played on Hellbilly Deluxe and The Sinister Urge. Manson has further headline shows and festival dates booked for the autumn, wrapping the wider “One Assassination Under God” tour on 1 November after 148 shows across nine legs since August 2024.
Manson‘s touring lineup has changed considerably. Tim Skold returned on bass in February after eighteen years away, having played with the group between 2002 and 2008, first on guitar before moving to bass. Piggy D. has switched from bass to share lead guitar with Nick Annis, previously of Black Light Burns and a touring player for Dorothy and Kesha. Gil Sharone is on drums.
Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, has spent much of the past five years in litigation. Several women have accused him of sexual, emotional and physical abuse, among them the actor Evan Rachel Wood. He has denied all of the allegations and has counter-sued a number of those who brought claims against him. Judges have dismissed several of the lawsuits.
More recently, a Los Angeles judge set November 15, 2027 as the trial date in the sexual assault lawsuit brought against Manson by his former personal assistant Ashley Walters. Manson has denied the allegations made against him.
