Linkin Park, Guns N’ Roses, And Limp Bizkit Announced As 2026 Download Festival Headliners

Download Festival 2026 (DLXXIII) has been announced, featuring a massive headliner trio: Limp Bizkit, Guns N’ Roses, and Linkin Park.

The 2026 edition of the U.K.’s Download Festival, officially dubbed DLXXIII, has been announced with a monumental trio of headliners: Limp Bizkit, Guns N’ Roses, and Linkin Park. The 23rd installment of the legendary festival will return to its spiritual home of Donington Park from June 10-14, 2026. Organizers have confirmed these will be the only U.K. appearances for all three headlining acts next year.

The festival kicks off on Friday with Limp Bizkit headlining Download for the very first time. Organizers noted the promotion was well-deserved after their “incendiary performance” in 2024.

Saturday will be headlined by “rock royalty” Guns N’ Roses, the icons behind the trailblazing 1987 album Appetite for Destruction. The performance marks their first return to the hallowed grounds of Donington since 2018 and 20 years since their first Download headline slot in 2006.

Sunday’s grand finale will be a highly anticipated and “incredibly poignant and powerful set” from the mighty Linkin Park. This will be the band’s first time headlining the festival since their 2024 reformation, with new lead singer Emily Armstrong and co-vocalist Mike Shinoda at the helm.

As part of a massive initial drop of over 90 names, the festival has also confirmed a stacked undercard. The lineup spans multiple generations of heavy music, including Bad Omens, Architects, Mastodon, Trivium, Halestorm, Babymetal, Cypress Hill, Electric Callboy, Ice Nine Kills, and Tom Morello.

The lineup also features a heavy dose of 90s and 00s nostalgia, with acts like Bush, Feeder, Static-X, P.O.D., Drowning Pool, Spineshank, The All-American Rejects, Dogstar, Story of the Year, and We Came As Romans also announced.

The DLXXIII lineup was unveiled at a special launch event at the Barbican, where the worlds of “fantasy, legend and rock and metal combined.” This is just the first announcement, with many more acts still to be revealed for the five-day event.
