Linkin Park‘s highly anticipated tour has undergone significant changes, affecting both venues and supporting acts. While the band has recently released a new song, “Up From The Bottom,” the most striking update concerns their Los Angeles concert.
Originally scheduled to take place at Dodger Stadium, which boasts a massive 56,000-seat capacity, the show has now been moved to the smaller Intuit Dome, which accommodates only 18,000 attendees. This change has resulted in ticket refunds for many fans, though those who had previously purchased tickets will be given priority access to secure seats at the new venue.
Additionally, the tour’s supporting lineup has been altered. Queens Of The Stone Age, who were initially set to perform, will no longer be part of the tour. The band has not yet announced a replacement, leaving fans speculating about potential new additions to the roster.
In a move aimed at making tickets more accessible, Linkin Park has also introduced a special $39.50 discounted ticket price across all tour dates. This initiative has been welcomed by fans, particularly as concert ticket prices continue to rise across the industry.
Meanwhile, Brazilian fans have been disappointed to learn that previously announced tour dates in the country have reportedly been canceled. The band has yet to officially comment on the reason behind these cancellations, but speculation suggests logistical challenges or scheduling conflicts may be to blame.
With these unexpected changes, Linkin Park‘s upcoming tour is shaping up to be a dynamic and evolving event. Fans are eagerly awaiting further announcements as the band prepares to hit the road.
Linkin Park has released a new song and its accompanying music video, “Up From The Bottom“, marking their first new track since the From Zero comeback album dropped last November. Joe Hahn, who directed the video, described “Up From The Bottom” as “the best song we’ve ever made”, while bandmate Mike Shinoda stated that “it’s one of the best videos we’ve ever had”.
“Up From the Bottom” will be included in a deluxe edition of From Zero, set for release on May 16 via Warner.
