London-based fragrance house Czech & Speake recently released a highly limited batch of its No.88 cologne, famously known as the signature scent of the late Ozzy Osbourne for three decades. Following its announcement on Wednesday, April 29, the tribute edition sold out almost immediately.
Priced at $370 per bottle, the exclusive release featured a black sleeve with striking purple foil and included a personal note written by Sharon Osbourne. In honor of the legendary Black Sabbath frontman, Czech & Speake announced that 20% of the proceeds from the sales will be donated to Cure Parkinson’s.
“Ozzy Osbourne was the most loyal fan of No.88, our signature and most unique perfume, for over 30 years,” the company stated regarding the collaboration. “At Czech & Speake, we are proud to be working with the Osbourne family to honour The Prince of Darkness with this limited tribute edition.”
The company described the timeless scent as having a fresh, woody top note of bergamot, combined with the richness of geranium, rose otto, cassie, and exotic frangipani, settling into dry base notes of vetiver and sandalwood. The iconic spray bottles for this special run were capped with handmade stainless steel lids and featured exclusive designs inspired by the singer printed directly onto the glass.

In her accompanying note, Sharon Osbourne reflected on the first time her husband experienced the fragrance.
“I don’t know exactly how long Ozzy wore No.88, but I’m sure it was at least 30 years,” Sharon wrote. “As soon as he smelled it, he said to me, ‘I’d like to smell like this for the rest of my life!’ And he did!”
The iconic heavy metal vocalist passed away on July 22, 2025. According to his death certificate filed in London, the cause of death was a heart attack, with coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease listed as contributing factors.
A private funeral service was held on July 31, 2025, at the 250-acre Buckinghamshire estate the couple purchased in 1993. The intimate gathering was limited to 110 of his closest friends and family, with attendees including his Black Sabbath bandmates, Robert Trujillo of Metallica, Rob Zombie, Zakk Wylde, Marilyn Manson, and Corey Taylor of Slipknot. The day before the private memorial, thousands of mourning fans filled the streets of Birmingham to pay their respects, joined by Sharon Osbourne and their children Aimée, Kelly, and Jack.
Just 17 days prior to his death, Ozzy Osbourne delivered his final live performance. He reunited with the original Black Sabbath lineup, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward, at the “Back To The Beginning” charity concert in their hometown of Birmingham.
The historic evening began with a five-song solo set, backed by his touring band of guitarist Zakk Wylde, bassist Mike Inez, keyboardist Adam Wakeman, and drummer Tommy Clufetos. The solo performance highlighted four tracks from his classic 1980 debut album Blizzard Of Ozz—”I Don’t Know“, “Mr. Crowley“, “Suicide Solution“, and “Crazy Train“—alongside the 1991 No More Tears hit “Mama, I’m Coming Home“. To close the event, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward joined him on stage to perform the Black Sabbath anthems “War Pigs“, “Iron Man“, “N.I.B.“, and “Paranoid“.
