Virginia groove metal titans Lamb of God are officially hitting the road for their massive “Into Oblivion” North American tour tomorrow, and to celebrate the kick-off, the band has unleashed a brand new music video for the track “St. Catherine’s Wheel“. Directed by Meriel O’Connell, the striking new visual arrives just as the heavy metal veterans prepare to bring their blistering new material to stages across the continent.

Promising to be one of the absolute heaviest treks of 2026, the upcoming run features a devastating support package consisting of Kublai Khan TX, Fit For An Autopsy, and Sanguisugabogg.

During a recent interview with Forbes, frontman Randy Blythe opened up about the profound thematic message behind the new single and the growing necessity for unity in modern society.

Randy explained: “The last line of ‘St. Catherine’s Wheel‘ is ‘these savage days can’t break us’ and I use the term ‘us’ very specifically… I think community is going to become incredibly valuable in the next few years.”

The track is lifted from the band’s highly anticipated tenth studio album, Into Oblivion, which was officially released last week via Epic Records to widespread critical acclaim. Leading up to the highly anticipated drop, the group secured cover features on major publications like Metal Hammer, Loudwire, and Kerrang!. The Associated Press recently highlighted the record as “10 tracks of ferocity,” while Brooklyn Vegan declared that the band spends these 10 songs reminding the world that their reign as New Wave of American Heavy Metal giants is far from over.” SPIN similarly praised the group for “channeling America’s unraveling into a ferocious new album.”
