Lamb of God, Fear Factory, Clutch Members And More Lead All-Star Ozzy Osbourne Tribute On Headbangers Boat

The 2025 Headbangers Boat cruise concluded with a massive, 10-song all-star tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne on November 3. Members of the ship’s biggest acts, including Lamb of God, Fear Factory, Clutch, Crowbar, Devildriver, Obituary, and Nekrogoblikon, took the stage for a collaborative celebration of the Prince of Darkness.

Fan-filmed video from the cruise, which sailed from Miami to Cozumel, shows the various musicians rotating through a set of Ozzy and Black Sabbath classics. The emotional tribute comes just over four months after Osbourne passed away at the age of 76.

The involvement of Lamb of God members was particularly poignant. This all-star jam was the second Ozzy tribute the band participated in during the cruise, as they also performed a powerful cover of the Black Sabbath anthem “Children Of The Grave” during their own headlining set.

Lamb of God has a deep and recent connection to Osbourne‘s legacy. The band was personally selected to perform at Ozzy‘s historic final farewell concert, “Back To The Beginning,” in Birmingham, England, on July 5.

Frontman Randy Blythe has spoken extensively about the emotional weight of that day. In a previous statement, he described the honor of performing for the men who created the genre.

“They hit us up and they asked little old Lamb of God if we wanted to come to play,” Blythe said. “It was f**king a huge honor to be there… representing our city… in front of the four dudes who f**king created heavy metal. They were the first. And it was a magic, magic day, my friends.”

Blythe also shared a personal memory of Ozzy‘s kindness from a decade prior. “I also knew him as a kind & gentle man who… spoke out publicly on my behalf when I was facing serious legal issues,” Blythe wrote after Ozzy‘s passing. “When you are in a foreign prison & inmates you don’t know come up to you… saying ‘Ozzy Osbourne says good things for you!’ in broken English… trust me, it makes a difference. Thank you for that, mate.”
