Following a successful run across Europe, Italian gothic metal legends Lacuna Coil are bringing their latest sonic chapter to North America. The band has officially announced the U.S. leg of their “Sleepless Empire” tour, a massive trek scheduled to kick off in March 2026.
The tour, designed to support their new album of the same name released in February via Century Media Records, will see the band delivering their signature blend of dark atmosphere and crushing riffs to fans from coast to coast.
Joining Lacuna Coil for the duration of the run will be post-hardcore veterans Escape The Fate. The tour will also feature rotating opening support, with VOWWS appearing from March 24 through April 13, followed by AXTY from April 15 through the tour’s conclusion on May 1.
The journey begins in New York City on March 24 and will hit major markets including Chicago, Los Angeles, and Atlanta before wrapping up in Albany.
To coincide with the tour reveal, Lacuna Coil has premiered a new official video for their track “Hosting The Shadow.” The clip captures the band’s explosive performance at the Aftershock festival in October 2025 and features a special guest appearance by Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe, who lends his vocals to the studio version of the song. You can watch the video down below.
Vocalist Cristina Scabbia offered a heartfelt statement regarding the collaboration and the live footage:
“Filming the video for ‘Hosting The Shadow‘ at Aftershock, sharing the stage with my family in Lacuna Coil and with Randy Blythe was a truly cathartic experience. Randy is not only an incredible, professional musician, he’s also a precious friend and has added so much to our song. I think the video shows clearly the level of emotion and joy we shared both off and onstage. I used that positive energy to give it my all even though I was performing with a fever! Please enjoy the video, I truly hope you like it!”
General admission tickets for the “Sleepless Empire” U.S. tour will go on sale this Friday, December 19, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
