Kreator performed a specialized “deep cuts” setlist dedicated to their 1980s catalog on Saturday, May 23. The performance took place during the Maryland Deathfest XXI at Market Place/Power Plant Live in Baltimore, Maryland. Fan-filmed footage of the complete concert has been released online and can be seen down below..
The setlist focused on tracks from the band’s albums Pleasure To Kill, Terrible Certainty, and Extreme Aggression.
This festival appearance concluded the band’s recent United States headline tour, which began on May 7 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The run included appearances at Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple.
Earlier this year, Kreator released their sixteenth studio album, Krushers Of The World, on January 16 via Nuclear Blast Records. The album was recorded at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden, with producer Jens Bogren, who previously produced the band’s albums Phantom Antichrist (2012) and Gods Of Violence (2017). The cover artwork was designed by Zbigniew Bielak, known for his work with Ghost.
Krushers Of The World was supported by the release of several singles, including “Seven Serpents“, “Tränenpalast“, and “Satanic Anarchy“. The track “Tränenpalast” features guest vocals by Britta Görtz, vocalist for the extreme metal band Hiraes.
To support the new album, Kreator completed a European tour across 20 countries alongside Carcass, Exodus, and Nails. The tour launched on March 20 in Lisbon, Portugal, and concluded on April 25 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In addition to their musical output, the official 110-minute Kreator documentary, “Hate & Hope“, directed by Cordula Kablitz-Post, premiered at the 42nd Munich International Film Festival in July 2025 before a theatrical release in September 2025. Additionally, frontman Mille Petrozza published his official German-language autobiography, “Your Heaven, My Hell – Mein Leben, Heavy Metal Und Wie Das Alles Passieren Konnte“, co-written with journalist Torsten Groß, in August 2025 via Ullstein Verlag.
