Nu-metal giants Korn are offering fans a nostalgic look back by streaming their entire performance from the 2000 Pinkpop Festival. This archival release captures a distinct moment in the band’s history, as it features Mike Bordin, the acclaimed drummer for Faith No More, competently filling in for Korn‘s original drummer, David Silveria, who was on a temporary hiatus from live duties at that time.

In more recent news, Korn delivered an electrifying set at the Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival on May 8, 2025. A particular highlight for attendees was the band’s surprise revival of their 2005 hit song “Twisted Transistor,” marking its first live performance since 2019. The track originally appeared on their platinum-selling album See You On The Other Side.
As Korn continues its extensive touring schedule throughout 2025, longtime bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu remains absent from the current live lineup. Fieldy stepped back from the band in 2021, citing the need for personal time. Responding to a fan’s query about his return, Fieldy stated: “I won’t be playing any shows, but we’ll see what tomorrow brings. You never know. But for now, no. I’ve got plenty to do.” Despite his absence from the stage, his distinctive bass work was featured on Korn’s 2022 album, Requiem. Ra Díaz of S*icidal Tendencies has been capably handling bass duties for Korn’s live performances.
