Kid Rock recently shared a video showcasing two Boeing AH-64 Apache attack helicopters flying over his custom-built Nashville, Tennessee residence. The display has generated significant online discussion, arriving just weeks after the artist faced media scrutiny over the pricing structure for his upcoming “Freedom 250 Tour.”
The sprawling Nashville property, which was designed to replicate various architectural elements of the White House, is frequently referred to by the artist as “The Southern White House.” While supporters praised the display of military hardware, critics quickly raised questions regarding the authorization and potential use of United States taxpayer funds for a private flyover involving heavily regulated military aircraft.
Kid Rock also utilized the social media post to direct a politically charged comment at California Governor Gavin Newsom.
“This is a level of respect that s**t for brains Governor of California will never know,” Kid Rock wrote in the caption accompanying the video. “God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her. us”
The recent social media activity follows a public dispute in February regarding the ticketing policies for the upcoming “Freedom 250 Tour“. The artist, who has previously supported government efforts to investigate deceptive pricing practices within the live entertainment industry, partnered with Ticketmaster‘s Face Value Exchange program for the 2026 trek to restrict ticket scalping.
Following the announcement, several media outlets published reports highlighting that certain premium tickets were listed for $5,000. On February 21, Kid Rock issued a statement to clarify the pricing tiers, criticizing the coverage for lacking context.
He wrote at the time:
“Here we go again.”
“The fake liberal media says I’m charging $5,000 for front-row tickets.”
“They know damn well that’s not the full story.”
“Those are extremely limited First Class seats like I explained — FOUR tickets per row, first five rows only (5k per seat row 1, 4k row 2, 3k row 3, 2k row 4, 1k row 5) — Again ONLY 4 seats in rows 1 through 5 (20 “first class” seats in venues that hold 15k to 25k people)”
“But instead of reporting facts or that lawn seats are only 50 bucks or how we are cutting out the scalpers, they twist it for headlines / clicks and to attack me – nothing new here.”
“I WILL pray for them but I know that sooner or later God will cut ‘em down.”
