Kelly Osbourne has reportedly ended her relationship with her fiancé, Slipknot‘s Sid Wilson, just seven months after their emotional engagement. The split comes as the television personality continues to navigate the heavy grief of losing her father, the legendary Ozzy Osbourne.
According to sources speaking with the Daily Mail, the couple—who share a three-year-old son named Sidney—mutually decided to separate after struggling with ongoing relationship challenges behind the scenes.
“Kelly has been struggling following the loss of her father. The grieving process has been incredibly difficult, and she’s been doing everything she can to cope,” an insider shared.
“In truth, she and Sid have been facing challenges in their relationship for some time, and things were not as they appeared. They tried to make it work, particularly for the sake of their child, but ultimately decided that separating is the best path forward.”
The source added that Kelly Osbourne is now fully focused on her own well-being and being the best mother possible to her young son.
“Kelly has endured a great deal over the past year. Despite everything, she remains sober and is now focusing on herself and her role as a mother moving ahead.”
The split marks the sudden end to a long-standing bond. Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson originally met back in 1999 during Ozzfest, the iconic touring festival founded by her parents. After remaining close friends for more than two decades, their relationship officially turned romantic in late 2021.
Their engagement took place under incredibly special circumstances last July. Sid Wilson popped the question backstage at Villa Park during Ozzy Osbourne‘s final performance with Black Sabbath. Surrounded by family, including Sharon Osbourne, the heartwarming moment even featured a bit of classic humor from the Prince of Darkness before the proposal was completed.
Ozzy jokingly said at the time: “F**k off, you are not marrying my daughter!”
Following the laughs, the Slipknot turntablist presented a custom-designed ring from Los Angeles jeweler Mouawad. The bespoke 18K yellow gold piece featured white and yellow diamonds, citrine accents, and a stunning 2.5-carat round brilliant-cut diamond center. The ring was lovingly nicknamed the “Honeybee” in honor of his fiancé’s personal nickname.
