Heavy metal titans Judas Priest are currently on their “Shield Of Pain” tour, a global trek that serves as both a powerful live experience and a special tribute to the 35th anniversary of their landmark 1990 album, Painkiller. The recent concert at Atlas Arena in Łódź, Poland, on Monday, July 7, provided a vivid illustration of this celebratory approach.
As promised upon the tour’s announcement last fall, Judas Priest is delivering a “rare” and “unique set” to fans, blending enduring classics with a significant focus on the Painkiller album. The Łódź performance notably featured seven tracks from the record, including the iconic title track “Painkiller.” Other fan favorites from Painkiller unleashed that night were “All Guns Blazing,” “Hell Patrol,” “A Touch Of Evil,” “Night Crawler,” “One Shot At Glory,” and “Between The Hammer And The Anvil,” creating an immersive dive into one of metal’s most revered works.
