Veteran rock vocalist John Corabi—best known for his work with Mötley Crüe, The Scream, and currently as the frontman for The Dead Daisies—is finally stepping into the spotlight with his own original material. The singer has officially announced that his debut full-length solo album, titled New Day, will arrive on April 24, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.

To celebrate the news, Corabi has unveiled the album’s title track, “New Day,” alongside an official music video. The single serves as a sonic mission statement for the record, blending intimate acoustic textures with layered rock arrangements reminiscent of 70s titans like Queen and Boston.

In a statement accompanying the release, Corabi described the song as a call to embrace gratitude over negativity.

“‘New Day’ is a positive, upbeat song with a message of enjoy life!!!” Corabi said. “Stop whining and complaining about how unfair life is, and enjoy the ‘little beautiful things, life offers’ and make the changes you need to make your life better!!! Change happens WITHIN…”

While Corabi has released acoustic albums and live recordings in the past, New Day represents his first true solo studio album comprised of original songs. The project was recorded in Nashville during the summer of 2025 under the guidance of multi-platinum producer and songwriter Marti Frederiksen, whose resume includes work with Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, and Buckcherry.

The album features a blend of classic rock, soul, and blues, anchored by Corabi’s signature grit. It also includes two previously released singles, “Così Bella (So Beautiful)” (2021) and “Your Own Worst Enemy” (2022), which have been integrated into the final tracklisting.

For the recording sessions, Corabi enlisted a formidable lineup of friends and collaborators. Marti Frederiksen contributes backing vocals, guitars, piano, and percussion, while Evan Frederiksen handles a multitude of instruments including drums, bass, organ, and mandolin.

The record also features guest appearances from high-profile musicians, including Guns N’ Roses guitarist Richard Fortus, Winger keyboardist Paul Taylor, and Blackberry Smoke frontman Charlie Starr, who delivers standout guitar solos.

Corabi plans to support the release with a European tour scheduled for February and March 2026, with further dates expected later in the year.
