After Mötley Crüe‘s founder and guitarist, Mick Mars, announced his retirement due to Ankylosing Spondylitis — a condition which doesn’t allow him to tour. The band has now confirmed that John 5 will be joining them in a touring capacity.

Following this announcement, Crüe fans took to social media and requested the band also announce a new singer. The reason being that Vince Neil’s performance has been poor every night on “The Stadium Tour.”

According to TheMetalDen, Scott Stapp of Creed fame may be in the running to replace Vince Neil as the new singer of Mötley Crüe.

After their American stadium tour in 2022, rock bands Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe will go on a worldwide tour in 2023.

The tour begins on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Mexico City’s Foro Sol and will make stops throughout Latin America before heading to Europe in May 2023. Some of the notable locations include Wembley Stadium on Saturday, July 1, 2023 as well as Glasgow’s Hampden Park on July 6, 2023. Additional shows for2023 are expected to be announced soon.
