Iron Maiden lead vocalist Bruce Dickinson has been nominated for three separate honors at the upcoming 2026 Speaker Awards in London.
When the organization announced its 2026 shortlist this week, the frontman received nominations in three distinct categories: Best Live Speaker, Best Motivational Speaker, and Best Storyteller.
Outside of his highly successful music career with Iron Maiden and his work as a solo artist, Bruce Dickinson maintains a diverse professional background. He is a qualified commercial airline pilot, entrepreneur, competitive fencer, brewmaster, author, and broadcaster. Drawing directly from these varied experiences, he frequently serves as a keynote speaker at corporate events and has completed multiple spoken word tours.
In an official statement regarding his inclusion on the 2026 shortlist, The Speaker Awards shared the following comments (via Planet Rock):
“Known for his energy, insight, and unforgettable stage presence, Bruce Dickinson continues to captivate audiences around the world with inspiring stories drawn from music, business, aviation, and life at the highest level. Huge congratulations to Bruce on this fantastic and well-deserved recognition.”
The Speaker Awards ceremony will take place in London later this summer, where the final winners will be officially announced.
Meanwhile, Iron Maiden officially launched the 2026 leg of their massive “Run For Your Lives” world tour on Saturday night, May 23.
Following the European dates, Iron Maiden will bring the world tour to North America. Celebrating their 50th anniversary, the band will deliver a state-of-the-art production to stadiums and major amphitheaters across the United States and Canada. The tour focuses exclusively on the groundbreaking material from their first nine studio albums and includes a headlining appearance at the Louder Than Life festival in Kentucky on September 17, 2026.
According to a press release, these upcoming performances mark 45 years since the band first visited North America on the 1981 “Killer” world tour and will feature some of the largest-scale productions they have ever brought to the region.
