Iron Maiden has officially confirmed their return to Mexico, announcing a massive stadium show in Mexico City for October 2026. The concert is part of the band’s ongoing “Run For Your Lives” 50th-anniversary world tour, which is now expanding into North and Latin America.
The newly announced show will take place on October 2, 2026, at the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City. The concert marks a special milestone, as it will be the band’s eighth performance at the iconic venue, 34 years after their first-ever Mexican concert during the 1992 “Fear Of The Dark World Tour“.
For the first time in Mexico, the popular Trooper VIP experience will be made available to fans. Special guests for the show are yet to be announced.
The Iron Maiden Fan Club presale for the Mexico City date will begin on Monday, October 27, with the general public on-sale following on Friday, October 31.
The Mexico announcement came on the same day the band unveiled a major North American leg of the tour for August and September 2026. These dates will mark 45 years since Iron Maiden‘s first North American tour in 1981.
The North American run will feature a colossal support package, with thrash legends Megadeth confirmed as the special guest for all headline shows. Fellow “Big Four” icons Anthrax will also join the bill on select dates in Montréal, Harrison, Los Angeles, and San Antonio, creating a must-see event for metal fans. The band has promised that more tour dates for other parts of the world will be announced soon.
