Ingested have parted ways with vocalist Josh Davies. Davies came on board in 2024, stepping in for founding frontman Jason Evans.

For their forthcoming dates supporting Bodysnatcher and Big Ass Truck, vocal duties will be handled by Deathstroke’s Adam Mercer.

The band shared a short statement:

“Effective immediately, Josh Davies is no longer a member of Ingested. Adam Mercer will be handling vocal duties on the upcoming Bodysnatcher tour.”

Ingested are set to release their new album Denigration on May 8 through Metal Blade Records.

Earlier in February, the group has also shared a new music video for the track “Merciless Reflection,” featuring Damonteal Harris of Peeling Flesh.

Denigration additionally includes guest appearances from Skyler Conder of Cell / Varials, John Gallagher of Dying Fetus, and Kyle Medina of Bodysnatcher.

Production on the upcoming album was handled by Nico Beninato at The Arch Studios.
