Metalcore veterans Hatebreed and alternative metal mainstays Life Of Agony have officially announced a joint European tour for the fall of 2026. Titled the “East Coast Assault On Europe Tour“, the run is set to kick off this November. However, the initial tour announcement has sparked conversations online due to the sudden omission of Baltimore hardcore outfit End It, who were originally listed as the opening act.
Booking agency M.A.D. Tourbooking initially included End It in their promotional posts before quietly editing the band out of the lineup. This unaddressed disappearance immediately follows a highly publicized and controversial incident involving the hardcore group during a recent show in Toronto, Ontario.
During their Toronto set over the weekend, End It vocalist Akil Godsey singled out a concertgoer in the crowd who was wearing a full-body banana costume. Godsey then placed a bounty on the fan, offering the band’s physical stage setlist to anyone in the audience who could tear the costume to shreds. Following the offer, several attendees quickly mobbed the individual and destroyed the suit in the resulting pit.
The public response to the physical altercation has been heavily divided. While speculation points to the “banana man” incident as the primary reason for the band’s sudden removal from the European run, potentially to avoid overshadowing the tour itself, no official explanation has been provided yet. It remains unclear if the lineup change was a mutual decision, a direct reaction from the headliners to the controversy, or simply a scheduling conflict.
