Swedish power metal titans HammerFall are preparing to storm North American shores once again. The band has officially announced plans for their upcoming “Freedom World Crusade” tour, a month-long trek scheduled for the late summer and early fall of 2026.

Joining them for this heavy metal campaign is a stellar support package featuring fellow Swedes Evergrey and the Italian folk-metal outfit Elvenking.

The band posted: “Templars of North America, raise your hammers! In 2026, the Freedom World Crusade Tour marches your way, joined by our friends in Evergrey and Elvenking!”

The festivities will effectively begin in Atlanta, Georgia, where all three bands are slated to perform at the prestigious ProgPower USA festival on September 11, 2026. Following the festival appearance, the tour proper kicks off on September 12 at the Chapel of Bones in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is worth noting that Evergrey will not appear at the Raleigh date.

From there, the caravan will sweep across the continent, hitting major markets including New York, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, and Los Angeles, before wrapping up on the West Coast with a finale at El Corazon in Seattle on October 8.

Fans looking to secure their spot can purchase tickets starting tomorrow. The general on-sale begins Friday, December 12, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

The tour continues the promotional cycle for HammerFall‘s latest studio effort, Avenge The Fallen, which dropped in August 2024 via Nuclear Blast Records.
