The Scumdogs of the Universe are preparing to lay waste to America once again. GWAR has officially announced their Spring 2026 headlining trek, dubbed the “Gor Gor Strikes Back” tour. The intergalactic shock rockers will be joined by heavy metal heavyweights Soulfly as direct support, with Australian grindcore unit King Parrot set to open proceedings each night.
The carnage begins on March 19 in GWAR‘s adopted fortress of Richmond, Virginia, and will cut a path of destruction across the country before concluding on April 29 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The tour promises to center around the band’s fan-favorite dinosaur character, Gor Gor, alongside the usual array of “fresh atro**ties” and spewing fluids that define a GWAR performance.
Lead singer Blöthar The Berserker issued a graphic mission statement regarding the upcoming run, promising a spectacle that fits the band’s notorious reputation.
“GWAR, Soulfly and King Parrot. This tour will be a ritual orgy of death, s*x, violence and rock and fu**ing roll!!” Blöthar declared. “Let the severed heads rain, bouncing down the pyramid onto a heap of human skulls. Be there humans, or be left to suffer on this planet while we party in the stars!”
Fans looking to secure their place in the splash zone can access tickets starting Friday, December 19 at 10 a.m. local time. For the most eager fans, an artist presale begins Tuesday, December 16 at 10 a.m. local time (password available via GWAR.net), followed by a local presale on Wednesday, December 17.
