Rock legends Guns N’ Roses delivered a historic performance in Mumbai, India, on Saturday, May 17, 2025, marking their first concert in the country in nearly 13 years and, significantly, the first ever in India for the reunited core lineup of vocalist Axl Rose, guitarist Slash, and bassist Duff McKagan. The show, held at the iconic Mahalaxmi Racecourse, was part of their ongoing “Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things” global tour.
The Mumbai concert, organized by Indian promotion company BookMyShow Live and co-produced by Guns N’ Roses‘ global tour promoter Live Nation, saw the band unleash an extensive setlist of classics and fan favorites. This tour also features new drummer Isaac Carpenter, who joined the band in March, replacing longtime drummer Frank Ferrer. The world tour kicked off on May 1, 2025, in Incheon, South Korea. Fan filmed footage of the energetic Mumbai performance has since surfaced online.
