Guns N’ Roses have kicked off a new chapter today with the release of two brand new singles, “Nothin’” and “Atlas.” Arriving as the band’s first new material since 2023, the pair highlights just how dynamic and multi-layered the legendary rockers remain nearly four decades into their career.
Released via Interscope Records, the two tracks present contrasting moods. “Atlas” charges forward with the kind of high-octane energy and swagger that defined GN’R’s rise, while “Nothin’” takes a more reflective route, blending atmospheric keys with emotional guitar work. Together, they offer a snapshot of a band equally comfortable unleashing adrenaline or leaning into introspection.
These releases continue the steady drip of new Guns N’ Roses music that began after Slash and Duff McKagan rejoined Axl Rose in 2016. Following “The General” and “Perhaps” in 2023, the new tracks reshape and resurrect material originally conceived during the Chinese Democracy sessions. Now reworked by the reunited core trio, “Nothin’” and “Atlas” expand the band’s modern-era output while giving longtime fans a deeper look into that extensive vault of unreleased ideas.
The timing couldn’t be stronger, as Guns N’ Roses gear up for their massive 2026 world tour, where both songs are expected to slot alongside their early classics and often-requested deep cuts. Fans will soon have physical collectibles to look forward to as well — beginning December 12, both singles will be available for pre-order on 7-inch vinyl, a band-store-exclusive cassette, and a Japan-exclusive SHM-CD.
