Belgium’s Graspop Metal Meeting has ignited excitement for its 29th edition, unveiling the first wave of headliners for Thursday, June 18, and Friday, June 19, 2026. The initial announcement is massive, confirming a Belgian stop for Twisted Sister‘s 50th-anniversary reunion, a slot on Megadeth‘s farewell tour, and headline performances from Limp Bizkit and Volbeat.
The festival will kick off on Thursday, June 18, with Limp Bizkit set to headline the North Stage. Dutch symphonic metal icons Within Temptation will top the bill on the South Stage, celebrating their 30th anniversary and marking their 10th appearance at the festival, supporting their 2023 album Bleed Out. Also joining the Thursday lineup on the North Stage are thrash legends Megadeth.
On Friday, June 19, Danish rockers Volbeat will close the South Stage, bringing material from their new ninth album, God of Angels Trust. The North Stage will see Twisted Sister headline, with Breaking Benjamin confirmed for a performance earlier in the day.
The booking of Twisted Sister is a major coup, securing a date on their highly anticipated 2026 reunion. This marks the second confirmed European show for the band, following the announcement of Spain’s Barcelona Rock Fest. The tour, which celebrates the band’s 50th anniversary, will feature the core trio of Dee Snider, Jay Jay French, and Eddie Ojeda, with returning members Joe Franco (drums) and Russell Pzütto (bass).
Dee Snider recently stated that he is preparing intensely for the physical demands of the show and that his wife, Suzette Snider, is designing new, “age-appropriate” stage wear.
“She’s not saying we should go back to what we wore in the ’80s, but she said, ‘I think that you should pay homage,’” Snider explained. “I can’t. I can’t disappoint people. I can’t disappoint myself. So I’ll be ready.”
The Thursday bookings carry equal weight. Megadeth‘s appearance is part of their recently announced farewell tour and will support their 17th and final studio album, which is scheduled for release on January 3, 2026. Furthermore, the confirmation of Breaking Benjamin is a significant event for Belgian fans, as the GMM performance will be the band’s first-ever show on Belgian soil, giving audiences a long-awaited chance to hear hits like “The Diary of Jane” and “I Will Not Bow” live.
Tickets for Graspop Metal Meeting 2026 go on general sale Saturday, November 8, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. A Mastercard presale for festival and VIP tickets begins Thursday, November 6.
