Ghost Drops ‘Peacefield’ Music Video From New Album ‘Skeletá’

Ghost has released the official music video for “Peacefield,” the potent opening track and third single from their newly unleashed sixth album, Skeletá. The video, directed by Amir Chamdin and produced by Matilda Almeida, offers fans a visual accompaniment to the hopeful yet ominous album opener.

Featuring dynamic footage captured during the band’s current “Skeletour,” which kicked off earlier this month, the “Peacefield” video provides glimpses of Ghost‘s captivating live ritual. The song itself serves as an introduction to the themes explored on Skeletá. Mastermind Tobias Forge explained the track’s purpose in a recent interview with Metal Hammer: “Because the record is going to slalom into darker subjects, I wanted to set a tone of hope in the beginning. I wanted to add a hand to the listener: ‘It will all be fine, but we’re gonna go sideways now and go on a little trip.’”

Peacefield” follows the previously released singles “Lachryma” and “Satanized,” building anticipation for the full album experience.

Skeletá arrived on April 25th, 2025, via Loma Vista Recordings.

The full track listing is as follows:

  1. Peacefield
  2. Lachryma

  5. De Profundis Borealis
  6. Cenotaph
