Fans planning to attend the “Gene Simmons Legends Of Rock Expo” will have to wait a little longer, as organizers have officially postponed the inaugural event until May 14–16, 2027. The expo had originally been scheduled for September 25–27, 2026, but will still be held at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.
The announcement was made on Thursday, July 16, with organizers explaining that a scheduling conflict forced the change. They also emphasized that the extra time will allow them to further expand the event.
The organizers said: “Due to a major scheduling conflict, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule the ‘Gene Simmons Legends Of Rock Expo’.
“While we know this change may be disappointing, the additional time will allow us to make the Rock Experience even bigger and better, while fine-tuning an incredible celebrity lineup.
“We sincerely appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support.
“We can’t wait to welcome you to an unforgettable ‘Gene Simmons Legends Of Rock Expo’ on May 14–16, 2027!
“All purchased tickets and vendor booths will automatically transfer to the new dates. No further action is required.
“If you are unable to attend on the new dates, please email us at [email protected], and we’ll be happy to assist you.”
According to the announcement, all previously purchased admission tickets and vendor booth reservations will remain valid for the rescheduled dates. Those who are unable to attend in May 2027 can contact the organizers to arrange assistance.
The “Gene Simmons Legends Of Rock Expo” was announced earlier this year as a celebration of rock music, bringing together legendary musicians, celebrities, vendors, live performances, autograph sessions, and fan experiences under one roof.
Among the originally announced guests were Gene Simmons, Geezer Butler, Stewart Copeland, Dave Davies, Eric Singer, Tommy Thayer, Bruce Kulick, Lita Ford, David Ellefson, Graham Bonnet, Carmine Appice, Vinny Appice, John Moyer, Stephen Pearcy, Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, Jerry Scheff, Saving Abel, and actors Edward Furlong and James Debello. Simmons and the Gene Simmons Band were also scheduled to headline the weekend with a live performance.
Organizers have not indicated whether the celebrity lineup will change following the postponement, although they stated they will use the additional time to further refine the guest roster.
