High-quality drum-cam footage of Rush‘s entire June 7 comeback concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles has surfaced online, offering fans a dedicated, multi-hour view of the band’s new touring drummer, Anika Nilles.
The Los Angeles performance served as the official launch of the “Fifty Something” tour. The extensive trek marks the first outing for the revamped lineup, which pairs legendary core members Geddy Lee (vocals, bass) and Alex Lifeson (guitar) with Anika Nilles, who previously toured with the late guitar icon Jeff Beck in 2022. The live roster is rounded out by newly recruited keyboardist Loren Gold, widely recognized for his touring work with The Who and Chicago.
The complete two-and-a-half-hour performance was captured and uploaded by the YouTube channel “TapeheadToo“. In the accompanying notes, the attendee explained their decision to focus the camera entirely on the drummer’s highly anticipated debut.
“I was only able to get a side stage seat. Side view full shows kind of suck so I decided to do an Anika cam. She absolutely killed it! You can also use this page to listen to the full audio; I didn’t cut anything out. Enjoy!” the uploader wrote.
The fan-filmed footage documents the entirety of the sprawling setlist, including two emotional video tributes dedicated to the late Neil Peart and a special live guest appearance by Aimee Mann during “Time Stand Still“.

The Los Angeles setlist was curated from a rotating pool of approximately 40 Rush classics. The band delivered two extensive sets designed to celebrate their storied legacy while directly honoring Neil Peart, who passed away in January 2020 at the age of 67 following a three-year battle with glioblastoma. Highlights from the June 7 concert included opening the show with “Xanadu” for the first time in their history, breaking out “Limelight” and “Freewill“, and a special guest appearance by Aimee Mann for a performance of “Time Stand Still“.
Anika Nilles has also earned widespread praise from Rush fans following her standout performance with the band in LA. Following the concert, fans and concertgoers immediately flooded social media to commend her precision and dedication to the complex material.
Prior to the massive Los Angeles kickoff, the new iteration of Rush made their live public debut in late March at Canada’s Juno Awards in Hamilton, Ontario. During the ceremony, the group performed “Finding My Way” from their 1974 self-titled debut album, Rush, notably the only full-length studio release in their catalog that did not feature Peart. Before the “Fifty Something” tour, Lee and Lifeson‘s only live performances together since 2015 were under their own names, participating in high-profile tribute events for artists like Gordon Lightfoot and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
Due to immediate sell-outs across all initial dates, the North American leg of the “Fifty Something” tour underwent a massive expansion. Originally planned as a 22-date run, the 2026 itinerary now spans 58 shows across 24 cities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, successfully moving over half a million tickets.
Looking further ahead, Rush recently confirmed international extensions scheduled for early 2027. The upcoming global dates will mark the band’s first European shows since 2013 and their first visit to South America in 17 years. Formatted as special “evening with” performances, the 24-show European run will see the group continuing to deliver two distinct sets each night.
