Foo Fighters Announce 2026 European Tour

Foo Fighters have confirmed a major 12-show run across Europe and the UK for the spring and summer of 2026, building upon the momentum of their recent North American stadium tour announcement and the official introduction of their new drummer.

Dubbed the “Take Cover Tour 2026,” the trek will see Dave Grohl and company headline some of Europe’s most iconic venues and major festivals. Highlights of the tour include two dates at the UK’s Anfield Stadium in Liverpool, as well as appearances at Mad Cool Festival in Madrid, Spain, and Portugal’s NOS Alive Festival in Oeiras. The band will also hit stadiums like the Allianz Arena in Munich and the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

Support on the lengthy itinerary will be handled by a diverse rotating lineup including Royel Otis, Inhaler, Idles, Otoboke Beaver, Fat Dog, and Die Spitz.

Tickets for the European leg go on sale this Friday, November 14, at 10 a.m. local time.

The confirmed Foo Fighters European schedule is as follows:

  • June 10 – Oslo, Norway @ Unity Arena
  • June 12 – Stockholm, Sweden @ Strawberry Arena
  • June 15 – Warsaw, Poland @ PGE Narodowy
  • June 17 – Munich, Germany @ Allianz Arena
  • June 19 – Paris, France @ Paris La Défense Arena
  • June 25 – Liverpool, UK @ Anfield Stadium
  • June 27 – Liverpool, UK @ Anfield Stadium
  • July 01 – Berlin, Germany @ Olympiastadion
  • July 03 – Vienna, Austria @ Ernst-Happel-Stadium
  • July 05 – Milan, Italy @ I‑Days
  • July 08 – Madrid, Spain @ Mad Cool Festival
  • July 10 – Oeiras, Portugal @ NOS Alive Festival

This European announcement follows the confirmation last month of a sweeping 12-city North American stadium tour for later in 2026, their first major run since the highly successful 2023-2024 “Everything Or Nothing At All” tour. That North American leg kicks off on August 4 in Toronto and runs through September 26, concluding at Las Vegas’s Allegiant Stadium, with Queens Of The Stone Age providing direct support on most dates.

The band has been active in the studio and on stage recently. On October 23, they released their powerful new single, “Asking For A Friend,” following up on the previously shared track, “Today’s Song.”

The studio activity coincides with the official introduction of new drummer Ilan Rubin (formerly of Nine Inch Nails), who joined the band earlier this year in July. Rubin played his official debut show with the group on September 13 at the 900-capacity Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo, California, marking the band’s return to the stage after a year-long hiatus.

During the surprise intimate gig, Dave Grohl formally welcomed Rubin, telling the audience: “Everybody else has said it. I finally get the opportunity to say, ‘Ladies and gentlemen, will you please welcome…’ The most bada** motherf**ker, Ilan Rubin, is playing drums in the Foo Fighters right now. It’s official. You can stamp the passport.”
