Foo Fighters have announced a string of stadium dates across Australia and New Zealand for the upcoming southern summer, bringing their highly anticipated “Take Cover” tour to a mix of major cities and regional markets.

The run begins on November 5, 2026, at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, and will hit Townsville, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, and Adelaide. Following a brief break for the holidays, the tour will resume in January 2027 with stops in Christchurch and Auckland before wrapping up on January 25 at Perth’s HBF Park. Notably, the Christchurch concert will take place at the newly constructed One New Zealand Stadium.

This newly announced tour follows the band’s massive one-off show in Launceston, Tasmania, last month, which stands as the biggest concert ever held in the state. During that sold-out performance at UTAS Stadium, Dave Grohl promised the crowd that the band would return before his next birthday on January 14.

At that same Tasmania show, Grohl also gave fans the first public confirmation that the follow-up to their 2023 album But Here We Are is on the way, teasing the crowd with exactly what they wanted to hear:

“We might have a whole new record of f**king songs that we just finished the other day.”

For this nine-date stadium trek, Foo Fighters—featuring the current touring lineup of Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Rami Jaffee, and Ilan Rubin—have handpicked 16 rising local acts to open the shows.

Tickets for the Australia and New Zealand Take Cover tour will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, February 25.
