Flaw Frontman Chris Volz Shows Support For Kid Rock–Led ‘All-American Halftime Show’, Slams ‘Ridiculous’ Super Bowl LX Half-Time Show

Chris Volz, the frontman of Flaw, has emerged as one of the voices publicly criticizing the musical lineup chosen for this year’s Super Bowl LX. The announcement that Bad Bunny will headline the halftime show at the February 8 event sparked backlash from MAGA-aligned and right-leaning sports fans, a reaction that intensified further with the addition of Green Day — a group known for repeatedly speaking out against U.S. President Donald Trump.

Positioning itself as an alternative, Turning Point USA has organized its own politically aligned broadcast, branding it the “All-American Halftime Show.” Scheduled to stream on February 8 via YouTube and additional platforms, the event will feature Kid Rock as the headliner, with supporting performances from Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett.

Volz publicly voiced his approval of that alternative halftime earlier yesterday, February 2, sharing the following message on social media:

“Patriots, we have a choice this Superbowl!!! I haven’t given up on the NFL quite yet but, definitely ain’t watching the ridiculous half-time show this year… The All-American Halftime Show 2026 airs on Sun Feb. 8, 2026, around 8 p.m. ET, featuring Kid RockBrantley GilbertLee BriceGabby Barrett and others… It can be streamed live on YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and Rumble. It will also air on television via Real America’s Voice, TBN, OAN, The National News Desk, and Daily Wire+

U.S. President Donald Trump has publicly denounced the musical lineup for Super Bowl LX, specifically targeting halftime headliner Bad Bunny and opening ceremony performers Green Day. Additionally, the President confirmed he will not be in attendance at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, when the game takes place on February 8.

Trump offered a sharp criticism of the artists selected by the NFL for the event’s premier musical slots.

“I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible,” Trump stated

Trump, who appeared at last year’s Super Bowl in New Orleans, cited logistical reasons for skipping the 2026 championship game. He explicitly mentioned the travel distance from Washington D.C. to the West Coast as the deciding factor.

“I would go if, you know, it was a little bit shorter,” Trump explained. “It’s just too far away.”
