Two members of Falling in Reverse have recently been embroiled in separate, bizarre catfishing schemes, prompting both musicians to address the situations publicly. Drummer Luke Holland is dealing with AI-driven impersonators scamming fans, while frontman Ronnie Radke finds himself in the middle of a public dispute involving Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee and his wife, Brittany Furlan.
Luke Holland recently took to Instagram to warn fans about fake accounts using AI-generated videos of him to target and defraud his followers. In a video reel, Holland showed examples of the AI-driven fakes and pointed out several impersonator accounts.
The situation became particularly egregious when one of the fake accounts commented on a post Holland made about his late friend, Daniel Williams, the former drummer of The Devil Wears Prada, who tragically passed away in a plane crash earlier this month. Holland said that incident really “pissed him off.” To help his followers avoid the scams, Holland walked viewers through each of his legitimate social media profiles.
Meanwhile, Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke has been publicly refuting accusations from Tommy Lee, who alleged that Radke had been contacting his wife, Brittany Furlan, on Snapchat. The accusation came amid reports that Lee and Furlan have separated and followed an Instagram post by Lee that simply read, “Who’s been catfished?”
Radke has vehemently denied the claims, stating he has never used Snapchat. In a series of social media posts, he alleged that a very different story had unfolded. In an Instagram story, Radke stated:
“You read that correctly. Brittney furlan, Tommy lees wife. Allegedly fell in love with a ronnie radke impersonator on snap chat drove to my house and sat out front. Only for me to find out. And have Brittney threaten me and accuse me of lying and telling me the catfish is actually me”.
Radke also shared screenshots of what he claimed were unreciprocated direct messages from Furlan and insisted that he had no involvement in the alleged catfishing, calling the situation completely fabricated.
