A new powerhouse collaboration has arrived with Halsey and Amy Lee of Evanescence teaming up for the track “Hand That Feeds,” which premiered online yesterday, May 8, 2025. The song was specifically penned for the soundtrack of the upcoming John Wick spinoff film, ‘Ballerina,’ starring Ana de Armas.

This duet brings together two diamond-certified artists who have publicly shared their mutual respect. Halsey, for instance, previously paid homage to Evanescence by recreating their iconic Fallen album cover in a photoshoot for her 2024 album, The Great Impersonator.

The new single, “Hand That Feeds,” also features the production and compositional talents of Jordan Fish, formerly of Bring Me The Horizon. Fish and Halsey previously collaborated in 2019.

This release adds to a busy period for Amy Lee and Evanescence. In April 2025, the band released their own new single, “Afterlife,” which was featured in Netflix’s animated series ‘Devil May Cry.’ That track was co-written by Lee and Alex “Mako“ Seaver, and co-produced by Nick Raskulinecz and Seaver.

Following recent teases, Evanescence has also officially announced a Canadian tour for October 2025, where they will be co-headlining with fellow rockers Halestorm. While the bands have a busy schedule of U.S. festival dates throughout the summer, fans may be hopeful for a U.S. leg of the co-headlining tour to be announced later.

Evanescence and Halestorm Canadian Tour Dates – October 2025:

  • Oct 15 – Vancouver, BC – Rogers Arena
  • Oct 16 – Kelowna, BC – Prospera Place
  • Oct 18 – Calgary, AB – Scotiabank Saddledome
  • Oct 20 – Edmonton, AB – Rogers Place
  • Oct 22 – Winnipeg, MB – Canada Life Centre
  • Oct 25 – Montreal, QC – Bell Centre
  • Oct 26 – Quebec City, QC – Videotron Centre
  • Oct 28 – Ottawa, ON – Canadian Tire Centre
  • Oct 29 – London, ON – Budweiser Gardens

The release of “Hand That Feeds” offers an exciting new musical moment from Halsey and Amy.
