Eluveitie will mark 25 years with an 18-date North American run in February and March 2027, opening in Milwaukee on February 18 and finishing in Salt Lake City on March 14.
The run is billed as the “25 Years North American Anniversary Tour“. NiNi and Illumishade support throughout. Tickets go on sale on September 18.
Illumishade is not a neutral booking. The Swiss band was founded in 2019 by Fabienne Erni, who also fronts Eluveitie, meaning she will be on stage twice a night for the length of the tour.
Illumishade began as a graduation project at the Zurich University of the Arts, with the whole band drawn from alumni, and released their debut Eclyptic: Wake Of Shadows in 2020.

Eluveitie began in the winter of 2002 in Winterthur, Switzerland, as a studio project put together by Chrigel Glanzmann with guest musicians on different tracks. It became a working band shortly afterwards, at one point a ten-piece.
The group built its sound on Gothenburg-style melodic death metal played alongside traditional instruments, fiddle, hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, tin whistles and flutes, and signed to Nuclear Blast in November 2007. Slania, released in February 2008, broke into the Swiss top 40, and Origins reached number one there in 2014.
The band has European dates booked for December, with Pain and Wolfheart, before the North American run begins.
