Slaughter To Prevail 2025

Russian deathcore powerhouse Slaughter To Prevail had to adapt quickly this past weekend during their run on the Falling In Reverse tour. Drummer Evgeny Novikov was delayed due to travel issues, forcing the band to perform using pre-recorded drum tracks for two shows.

Initially, the band had considered canceling the shows, citing Novikov’s absence as unavoidable. Ultimately, they chose to proceed, ensuring fans could still experience the brutal intensity Slaughter To Prevail is known for. The shows affected were:

August 30, 2025 – Tinley Park, IL – Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre

August 31, 2025 – Noblesville, IN – Ruoff Music Center

Addressing fans, the band said: “We would be nothing without our fans. Show cancellations are not something we take lightly at all.

“As we take your feelings seriously and don’t want to let you down, we performed with backing tracked drums so the concerts could still go ahead. We hope Evgeny will rejoin us on Tuesday for the show in Maryland Heights, MO.

“While this isn’t the way we envisioned it, we hope you’ll join us and that together we can make these nights unforgettable. Thank you for your understanding and for standing with us.”
