Doro Pesch will release a new nine-track record, Wild At Heart, on December 11, and most of it was written in the last few weeks for a specific reason: she wanted fresh material to play on the tour that starts the same day.

The first single, “Rock You 2 Death“, is out now with a video shot in Sweden and cut together with live footage from Wacken Open Air.

“The new tracks on Wild At Heart are all songs close to my heart; many of them were written in the past few weeks. I wanted to have brand-new songs ready for the upcoming tour that would really ignite both on the album and live,” Doro explained.

She placed the single alongside two of her established live staples.

Doro added: “‘Rock You 2 Death‘ is a great sing-along anthem, very much in the style of ‘We Are The Metal Heads‘ and ‘Raise Your Fist In The Air‘. This song is also going to go off live!”

On what the record does for her setlist, she added: “This special release really packs a punch. I can immediately add two or three new bangers to the setlist that are sure to be a hit with the fans!”

The album closes out with a live recording of “Touch Of Evil” featuring Alissa White-Gluz. The Canadian singer left Arch Enemy in November 2025 after twelve years with the band. Lauren Hart was announced as their new vocalist in February 2026. White-Gluz has since formed her own band, Blue Medusa, and in May joined DragonForce as a second lead vocalist.

Wild At Heart – Special Release (Tour Edition) comes out on Doro‘s own label, Rare Diamonds Production, distributed by Edel.

Wild At Heart – Special Release (Tour Edition) Tracklist:

  • “Rock You 2 Death“
  • “I Believe In Love“
  • “You R Not Alone“
  • “Fight Like A Lion“
  • “Too Little Too Late“
  • “Stay With Me“
  • “Holding Out For A Hero“
  • “Touch Of Evil” (live, featuring Alissa White-Gluz)
  • “Remember The Good Times“

“The Winter Magic” tour opens with an additional date in Neuruppin before the December run proper:

  • Nov 27 – Kulturhaus Stadtgarten, Neuruppin, Germany
  • Dec 11 – Eventhall Airport, Obertraubling, Germany
  • Dec 12 – Musikhalle, Markneukirchen, Germany
  • Dec 13 – Schlachthof, Wiesbaden, Germany
  • Dec 15 – Aladin Music Hall, Bremen, Germany
  • Dec 16 – Rockhal, Esch/Alzette, Luxembourg
  • Dec 17 – Filharmonie, Filderstadt, Germany

The release follows Warriors Of The Sea, put out last autumn on the same label. That record grew out of Doro‘s “Metal Queen Metal Cruise” events, two of which sold out in late May and early June 2025, with a third sailing in June 2026. Its title track was written as an anthem for the cruise and went on to become a fixture of her festival sets. The rest of that release gathered rarities, with studio recordings on one side and live tracks from her 2024 and 2025 tour on the other.

In March 2025 Doro received a lifetime achievement award in Düsseldorf, the city where she grew up. It was presented by Klaus Meine of Scorpions. Her career began in the 1980s with Warlock, making her one of the first women to establish herself in a heavy metal scene that had almost none.

Her most recent full studio album, Conqueress – Forever Strong And Proud, was released in October 2023 through Nuclear Blast.
