Disturbed frontman David Draiman is officially a married man. David wed his fiancée, Sarah Uli, on Sunday, November 16, in an outdoor ceremony held in their home state of Florida.
The couple shared their joy on social media shortly after the nuptials. Draiman had teased the event earlier in the day, posting a photo from a pre-wedding dinner with the caption: “Marrying this goddess today.” Following the ceremony, he uploaded images from the wedding, adding a message of gratitude: “Thanks so much to everyone who was a part of this amazing day!”
The bride was equally enthusiastic about the milestone. Sarah Uli posted her own set of photos, celebrating the occasion with the caption: “Married my best fiend! And it was the best day ever!!! I guess this is why people have weddings!”
The marriage comes just six months after Draiman delivered a spectacular public proposal. During Disturbed‘s concert on May 9 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, the singer interrupted the set right before the band performed “The Light.” The show was part of the group’s “The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour.”
In front of thousands of cheering fans, Draiman brought Uli onto the stage and delivered an emotional speech before dropping to one knee.
“Sarah, my love, you have made my life so much better,” Draiman told her in front of the crowd. “You are the light in the darkness for me. I love you more than anything I have ever loved in this world, and it would be the absolute pinnacle of my life and my existence…”
He then produced a ring box and asked: “Sarah Uli, will you marry me?”
After she nodded yes and he placed the ring on her finger, Draiman turned back to the audience to confirm the answer: “In case you didn’t hear, she said ‘yes’.” He then gently ushered her offstage, saying, “Go ahead and join the rest of your family, sweetheart.”
The couple first went public with their relationship in January 2024.
