The 2026 edition of “Inkcarceration Festival” is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious yet, with organizers unveiling a massive lineup led by Disturbed, Bad Omens, and Limp Bizkit. Set to take place from July 17–19, 2026, the event will once again transform the historic Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio into a three-day destination for rock, metal, and tattoo culture.

More than 65 bands are confirmed for the eighth year of the festival, which has steadily grown into one of the most distinctive events on the U.S. summer festival circuit. Each night will feature a different set of headliners, offering a broad snapshot of modern heavy music across multiple generations.

The daily headlining lineup is as follows:

Friday, July 17: Disturbed, Papa Roach, Cypress Hill, Hollywood Undead
Saturday, July 18: Bad Omens, Gojira, The Used, Sleeping With Sirens
Sunday, July 19: Limp Bizkit, A Day To Remember, Motionless In White, Ice Nine Kills

Beyond the music, “Inkcarceration Festival” continues to lean into its unique setting. The event blends live performances with tattoo culture, featuring more than 100 tattoo artists, haunted attractions, and guided access to the prison complex famously used as a filming location for “The Shawshank Redemption.” The festival is co-produced by Danny Wimmer Presents and Reinkcarceration LLC.

Artists involved have already begun sharing their excitement about returning to the reformatory grounds. Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas said:
Tim Robbins says in ‘The Shawshank Redemption‘, ‘get busy living, or get busy dying,’ and we’re thrilled to share our songs of living and dying when INK descends on INKcarceration.”

Tech N9ne, who is also part of the 2026 lineup, added:
“I was SUPER excited when I got the word I was playing at Inkcarceration Festival because I’ve always seemed to be touring around it with artists who’ve played there frequently. Honored to be part of such a huge festival.”

Festival founder Danny Wimmer highlighted the significance of the headliners for the upcoming year, stating:
“We’re fired up to welcome Limp Bizkit back to Inkcarceration. Their recent South American stadium run has sent social media into overdrive, and we’re proud to be part of their global takeover once again. Having Bad Omens headlining a DWP festival for the first time brings a whole new level of energy to the weekend, and adding Disturbed to this lineup makes it an absolute powerhouse for our fans.”

Inkcarceration co-founder Dan Janssen emphasized both the demand and continued growth of the event:
“We’re expecting 2026 to be a landmark year for Inkcarceration. After selling out every year since 2021, this summer brings one of our most in-demand lineups to date, including more than 45 artists making their Inkcarceration debut alongside nearly 20 fan-favorite returns. Combined with upgrades across the site, camping, and parking experience, we’re excited to welcome fans back to ‘Shawshank‘ for what will be the biggest INK yet.”

Representing the venue itself, Dan Smith, associate director of the Ohio State Reformatory, commented on the festival’s continued presence at the historic site:
“We are excited to welcome Inkcarceration back to the historic Ohio State Reformatory for another incredible year. This festival has earned its reputation as one of the most unique and sought-after events in the world, blending music, tattoo artistry, and culture in a setting unlike any other. Inkcarceration continues to attract fans from across the globe, and the 2026 lineup promises to deliver an unforgettable experience. The Ohio State Reformatory is proud to serve as the backdrop for this extraordinary celebration.”

In addition to live performances, attendees will once again have access to Monster Energy Tattoo X, an on-site tattoo convention housed inside the prison. Fans can also explore the venue through self-guided tours during the festival, including the award-winning Blood Prison experience, which highlights the site’s haunted reputation.

Three-day and single-day General Admission and VIP passes for “Inkcarceration Festival” are currently available, including layaway options and special pricing programs. Camping packages, parking passes, and hotel bundles are also offered for fans seeking a full weekend experience.

With a lineup that spans alternative metal, hardcore, hip-hop, and modern rock — all set against one of the most recognizable backdrops in American music festivals — the 2026 edition of “Inkcarceration Festival” is positioned to be one of the most talked-about heavy music events of the year.
