Death To All play their first Australian tour in January 2027 with Dark Angel, opening in Brisbane on 26 January.
Death To All will tour Australia for the first time in January 2027, with Dark Angel joining them on every date. The four-show run, billed as “Death And Darkness Down Under“, opens in Brisbane on 26 January and closes at the Froth & Fury Festival in Adelaide on the 30th. Tickets go on sale at 9am AEST on Thursday 27 August, with Melbourne handled separately from the other three dates.

Death To All was put together in 2012 by former members of Death to keep Chuck Schuldiner‘s catalogue on stage after his death in December 2001, and the current lineup is drummer Gene Hoglan, bassist Steve DiGiorgio, guitarist Bobby Koelble and singer and guitarist Max Phelps of Cynic and Exist.
Three of the four played on the records. Hoglan drummed on Individual Thought Patterns and Symbolic, DiGiorgio on Human and Individual Thought Patterns, and Koelble on Symbolic.
The Australian shows are billed as a full-catalogue set, drawing on Scream Bloody Gore (1987), Leprosy (1988), Spiritual Healing (1990), Human (1991), Individual Thought Patterns (1993), Symbolic (1995) and The Sound Of Perseverance (1998).
Recent runs have been organised around anniversaries rather than the whole discography, a North American tour last November marked 35 years of Spiritual Healing and 30 of Symbolic, and a Brazilian leg followed in January.
Dark Angel made their name in the 1980s with records built on speed and technical density, of which 1986’s Darkness Descends remains the best known.
They are not touring on catalogue alone. Extinction Level Event arrived last year, their first full-length in decades.
Hoglan joined Dark Angel as a teenager and drummed on Darkness Descends, so he will be playing both sets every night of the run. He has also worked with Testament, Strapping Young Lad, Fear Factory and Dethklok across four decades, and picked up the nickname the Atomic Clock during his time with Devin Townsend.
