Diamond Dave is hitting the road again. David Lee Roth, former frontman of Van Halen, has officially unveiled plans for a major North American solo tour spanning the spring and summer of 2026. The 71-year-old rock icon will embark on a 30-city run starting in mid-April, bringing his high-energy show to theaters, casinos, and amphitheaters across the continent.
The tour kicks off in the Pacific Northwest on April 16 at Spokane Live in Airway Heights, Washington. From there, Roth will sweep through the West Coast and Southwest, hitting major stops in California, Arizona, and Texas before heading east. May will see the singer traversing the South and East Coast, including a notable performance at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and a stop at Graceland Soundstage in Memphis.
As summer approaches, the trek moves into the Midwest and Northeast, with key dates scheduled for New York, New Jersey, Ohio, and Wisconsin. The run includes a mix of intimate theater gigs and larger outdoor stages, culminating in a high-profile appearance at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip in South Dakota on August 7.
Fans eager to secure their spot can access the artist presale beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, January 6, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Tickets will become available to the general public later in the week, starting Friday, January 9, also at 10:00 a.m. local time.

This announcement follows a busy 2025 for Roth, who wrapped up his previous U.S. tour last September in Napa, California. That year marked his return to full solo concerts after a five-year hiatus, highlighted by a performance at the M3 Rock Festival in Maryland.
While official touring personnel for the 2026 dates have not been confirmed, Roth‘s recent shows have featured a backing band consisting of guitarist Al Estrada, bassist Ryan Wheeler, drummer Francis Valentino, and keyboardist Danny Wagner.
In the studio, Roth has spent the last few years revisiting his legacy. In 2022, he entered Henson Recording Studio in Hollywood to record “live in the studio” versions of 14 classic Van Halen tracks, including staples like “Jump,” “Panama,” and “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love.” These sessions were notable for their “no samples” and “no Auto-Tune” approach, aiming to capture the raw energy of the band’s early days.
