Daughtry have announced a second leg of their “20 Years Unplugged” tour, adding 26 acoustic shows across the United States in early 2027.
The new run begins on January 23 at Saracen Casino Resort in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and wraps up on March 7 at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, Georgia. It follows the first leg of the tour, which opens next month.
The acoustic shows present songs from across the band’s 20-year career in a stripped-back format, with a focus on frontman Chris Daughtry‘s vocals. The setlists cover both the band’s early hits and material from their more recent, heavier releases.
As part of the anniversary, a limited number of $20 tickets will be available for every show while they last. The artist presale, VIP packages and the $20 ticket offer will run from Wednesday, September 30, at 10 a.m. local time until Thursday, October 1, at 10 p.m. local time. Local promoter, venue and radio presales take place on October 1 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. local time, before general sale opens on Friday, October 2, at 10 a.m. local time.
The first leg of “20 Years Unplugged” consists of 22 dates, starting on October 12 at Troy Savings Bank Music Hall in Troy, New York, and ending on November 14 at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas. Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Perdz, from Buffalo, New York, will open every show on that leg. A support act for the 2027 dates has not been announced.
The tour is part of a wider celebration of the band’s 20th anniversary. In July, Daughtry released There And Back Again, an 11-track album of newly recorded versions of some of their best-known songs, including “It’s Not Over“, “Home“, “Over You” and “What About Now“.
Chris Daughtry formed the band in 2006 after finishing fourth on the fifth season of “American Idol“. Their self-titled debut album was the best-selling album in the US in 2007 and received four Grammy nominations. The band say they have sold more than 11 million albums and 25 million singles worldwide.
