Renowned Canadian brutal death metal pioneers Cryptopsy have announced a major European headline tour for early 2026. The band, which recently released the critically acclaimed album An Insatiable Violence, will be commemorating the 30th anniversary of their landmark second album, None So Vile.
The tour, titled “Cryptopsy All So Vile,” will feature a month-long, 30-plus-date run across Europe and the United Kingdom, where the band will perform a selection of tracks from the legendary 1996 album. The band says the tour will be a celebration of the album’s legacy and its influence on modern death metal. They will also play new songs from An Insatiable Violence, which was released earlier this year.
Cryptopsy will be joined on the tour by 200 Stab Wounds, Inferi, and Corpse Pile.
“We are beyond excited to return to Europe and the UK alongside 200 Stab Wounds, Inferi, and Corpse Pile,” the band said in a statement. “We will be honoring the 30th anniversary of None So Vile by performing some of our favorite songs from this iconic album.”
The band added that the classic album was a major inspiration for their most recent release. “None So Vile is a legendary album that helped craft the landscape for modern death metal and was a huge inspiration for our most recent album An Insatiable Violence. We are stoked to celebrate its legacy with all of our fans.”
Tickets for the tour go on sale this Wednesday, August 27, at 11 a.m. CEST / 10 a.m. BRST.
